This business supplies, installs, and maintains an extensive range of packaging machinery — from simple stand‑alone machines to fully automated production lines. Their machinery is used across industries including food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, logistics, and retail. With strong growth and rising demand for their services, they are now expanding their field service engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:- Service and maintain a broad variety of packaging machinery including shrink wrappers, flow wrappers, sealers, conveyors, and fully automated systems
- Diagnose and repair faults across mechanical, electrical, and control systems, including 3-phase motors
- Install and commission machinery at customer sites, ensuring proper setup and performance
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimise downtime and extend equipment life
- Provide customer support and training, ensuring operators understand correct operation and maintenance procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation including service reports, repair logs, and compliance records
- Travel across the UK, with occasional overnight stays; travel time and expenses are fully paid
- Work safely and efficiently while adhering to all company and industry health and safety standards
- Comprehensive product and machinery training
- Ongoing technical upskilling on new equipment and systems

- Flexibility to travel across the UK, including overnight stays when required
- Commutable to the North West for initial training and office visits
- A practical, hands‑on attitude and a passion for solving technical challenges
- Full UK driving licence
