Drive, deliver, and make a real difference in your community Weston Hospice care is looking to recruit a Stock & Waste Logistics Driver to support the effective movement of stock, rag and waste across our retail estate.
This is a practical, hands-on role that plays a vital part in keeping our shops trading safely and efficiently, ensuring back-of-house areas are clear and stock continues to flow to where it is needed most.
Weston Hospice care is looking for a practical, reliable, and flexible Stock & Waste Logistics Driver to support the smooth movement of stock, donations, and waste across our retail estate.
Your work will directly help fund vital hospice care for patients and families in our community.
The RoleAs a Stock and Waste Logistics Driver, you will:
Driving and Logistics:
Collect and transport rag and waste from stores, supporting safe and efficient retail operations Deliver and transferring stock, donations, furniture and equipment between stores and the Donation Centre. Adapt schedules and daily routes to meet changing demands and short-notice requests Ensure vehicles are driven safely, legally and responsibly, with daily safety checks completed. Operational Support:
Assist Donation Centre operations, working alongside volunteers Support safe and efficient back-of-house operations in retail stores Represent Weston Hospice care professionally, providing excellent internal customer service to store teams.
This is a hands-on role that requires flexibility, physical work, and a team-focused attitude.
About YouWe’re looking for someone who is practical, reliable and comfortable with physical work, who understands the importance of keeping stock moving in a fast-paced retail environment.
You will ideally have:
Experience driving a light commercial vehicle Confidence with manual handling and moving bulky or heavy items A flexible approach to working hours, routes and priorities Good organisational skills and the ability to work to changing schedules A positive, team-focused attitude and a strong work ethic Experience with in a charity retail or logistics environment is desirable, but not essential.
A full UK driving licence is required for this role.
