An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a welcoming and well-supported secondary school outside of Taunton. This full-time role, starting in March 2026, is perfect for a teacher passionate about helping students develop strong mathematical understanding and confidence across Key Stages 3 and 4. As a Maths Teacher, you’ll be responsible for the planning, preparation, and delivery of high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4. You’ll help students build key numeracy skills, develop problem-solving abilities, and grow their confidence in the subject. The school supports innovative teaching approaches and encourages teachers to deliver lessons that are engaging, accessible, and challenging.

• Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4 (up to GCSE level)
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons
• Support students in developing core mathematical skills and resilience
• Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development
• Maintain high standards of behaviour, progress, and classroom engagement
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and aspirational learning environment

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
• Experience teaching Maths up to GCSE level
• Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
• Passion for supporting students’ academic and personal growth
• Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and high-quality teaching
