Position: Tesco Colleague On-Sea Superstore

Compensation

Our Tesco colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 an hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

We are committed to offering new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week. If you prefer fewer hours, a minimum of 12 hours per week is also available.

Availability

We would like you to be available during the following windows. Your contracted hours will be scheduled within these times, and you’ll receive at least three weeks’ notice of your shifts.

  • Sunday: 22:00 – 07:00
  • Monday: 22:00 – 07:00
  • Tuesday: 22:00 – 07:00
Responsibilities
  • Know your customers and serve them with passion and pride, giving great natural service.
  • Be passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services in the store.
  • Work across the store in our service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
  • Apply training received to work safely, effectively and serve customers brilliantly.
  • Make decisions that meet the needs of customers at the right time.
  • Take part in seasonal, community and charity events, creating an inclusive atmosphere.
  • Be knowledgeable about the store’s performance, understanding your role in driving service, sales, and profit.
  • Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in best condition.
  • Live the Tesco values, make everyone feel welcome, and follow policies.
  • Accept deliveries into the store when required.
