1:1 ASD Teaching Assistant
Primary School in Burnham
Immediate Start – Full-Time
Pay: £85 – £100 per day

Job Description:
Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with ASD, ensuring engagement and progress
Implement individualised strategies to support communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation
Adapt learning activities to meet the child’s needs and promote independence
Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals
Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP reviews and target setting
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience supporting children with ASD in a school setting
Be patient, empathetic, and skilled in behaviour management and communication strategies
Understand SEND best practices, safeguarding protocols, and inclusive approaches
Be passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning
