Join the Agropur Burnaby team as a Part Time General Labor in the Warehouse. We offer a starting wage of $42.50 per hour with a Class 1 license, as well as evening and night premiums and the opportunity to contribute to a home-grown cooperative!

Support production by running dairy case machines and executing shipping and receiving warehouse tasks.Working in a cooler/freezer environment, the General Relief (warehouse person) prepares customer orders, loads trucks, rotates and replenishes stock, cleans and does other duties including inventory.Working with a team or independently the incumbent will also use an in floor track system, fork-lift, pallet jacks, and reach jacks.What you need to join our team:
Class One License required
Class 1 RequiredKnowledge of Cooler/Freezer operationsSelf-directed & enthusiasticAble to communicate stock related needs and concerns effectively and proactively, assist in ordering stock items and maintain inventory control proceduresAbility to work with minimal supervision and as a team memberAbility to properly receive and document all incoming goodsAble to maintain a clean and safe workplaceResponsible for maintaining forklift, pallet jack and other related warehousing equipmentPerform any other duties as required under the direction of management and/or Assistant ForemanPhysically fit with good attendance and safety recordAbility to read, write and do basic mathAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAvailability to work all shifts (day, afternoon, graveyard)The successful candidate can expect to work a combination of days, afternoon, and night shifts - schedules will vary week to week at our 24/7 facility. All applicants must have open availability.
As this is a part-time position, hours of work will vary and will be dependent on volume and coverage requirements.
Pre-Employment testing, including a criminal record check is required for successful candidates.
