The Opportunity

As a foundational Senior Software Engineer, you will own the design, development, and deployment of critical services within our core backend platform. You will tackle complex challenges in distributed systems, data consistency, and high-volume transaction processing. This is a rare opportunity to shape our technology, culture, and product from the early stages.

What You'll Do

• Design & Build:
  
  Architect, develop, and deploy robust, scalable, and secure microservices.
• Own Systems:
  
  Take full ownership of critical backend systems—from design and implementation to deployment, monitoring, and operations. We live and breatheextreme ownership.
• Ensure Reliability:
  
  Build for "five-nines" reliability in a financial context. Implement comprehensive observability, alerting, and fault-tolerant patterns.
• Collaborate Directly:
  
  Work hand-in-hand with the founders, product, and directly with enterprise customers to translate complex requirements into elegant technical solutions.
• Mentor & Elevate:
  
  Contribute to a culture of technical excellence by reviewing code, sharing knowledge, and helping to shape our engineering practices as we grow.

What We're Looking For

• Proven Experience:
  
  5+ years of professional software development with a deep expertise inJava(Spring Boot preferred) and theAWS ecosystem(e.g., EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, Dynamo
  
  DB, SQS, IAM).
• System Design Mastery:
  
  A track record of designing, building, and maintainingcomplex, scalable, and highly reliable distributed systems. Experience infintech, payments, or a heavily regulated space (banking, healthcare) is a huge plus.
• Ownership Mindset:
  
  You areresourcefuland proactive. You don't just write code; you see problems, own outcomes, and drive solutions from conception to production.
