Outside Sales Representative is responsible for growing a customer base within a specified territory while maintaining and developing existing accounts by increasing sales to current customers.

• Achieve agreed‑upon sales targets and outcomes within the schedule
• Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
• Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
• Establish, develop and maintain strong positive business and customer relationships
• Support the customer in the decision‑making process
• Provide quotes for customers and deliver them promptly
• Provide exceptional customer service and keep customers informed by communicating promptly, accurately and honestly
• Work collaboratively with the team to support all steps in the process
  
  Follow up with any issues and make sure they are dealt with in a timely manner
• Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies, as applicable

• Postsecondary education
• 2‑3 years of sales experience
• Proven ability to meet sales goals
• Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience’s needs
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently
• Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
• Outgoing personality and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Good computer skills
• Ability to travel
• Valid Driver’s License

Pay range: 60,000 – 100,000 CAD per year (Burnaby Branch).
