Overview

We’re looking for a Major Account Executive to join our team! Open and Honest. Customer‑centric. Innovative. Passionate. Inclusive & Collaborative. Accountable. As the Major Account Executive, you will provide professional and ethical representation of Konica Minolta Business Solutions to the commercial industry in your territory. You will be assigned a list of named accounts for the purpose of developing long‑term relationships and attaining your quarterly sales targets.

You will also be responsible for maintaining and developing commercial print revenue within the region.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a prospect list of buyers for your designated geographical territory and/or named accounts, identifying closeable opportunities in the next 30 days by building relationships with all accounts and identifying other MFP decision‑makers such as print shop managers and IT managers.
  • Keep track of and develop relationships with existing Konica Minolta customers that would testify in Konica Minolta’s favor; prompt and diligent follow‑up of all sales leads.
  • Write sales proposals and tender responses for customers in a clear and concise manner, establishing Konica Minolta as the benchmark technology for future account tenders/RFPs.
  • Maintain complete product knowledge of Konica Minolta products and competitive products, and be prepared for product demonstrations of all current offerings.
  • Represent Konica Minolta ethically to customers so that all details of the sales transaction are accurately and unambiguously recorded and understood by both parties, enabling prompt processing of the sale and minimizing the need for subsequent rep involvement.
  • Maintain contact with current customers to identify potential upgrades and prepare “Account Reviews” of the customer base semi‑annually.
  • Maintain an up‑to‑date territory database of current and competitive accounts for effective sales prospect follow‑up.
  • Project a professional image through appropriate business attire.
Qualifications
  • 5‑7 years of B2B sales experience.
  • Bilingual French‑English.
  • Extensive B2B sales experience; prior industry experience is an asset.
