Job Duties:

· Research, select, and purchase quality products and materials

· Maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate the best pricing, discounts, and credit terms

· Place purchase orders based on inventory needs, sales forecasts, and market condition

· Monitor inventory and manage adequate stock levels

· Arrange transport of goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery

· Analyze market trends and apply this knowledge to make insightful buying decisions

· Oversee distribution of products and assess the quality of stock received

· Review requirements of establishment and determine quantity and type of products to purchase
