We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our Marketing team at Para Space! The role is responsible for working collaboratively and independently with the Communications Specialist on our team and our Leadership team to help implement, assist with, and execute marketing and communications efforts.

PositionSummary
The Marketing Assistant supports Para Space Landscaping’s marketing and communications and is ideal for a creative, driven marketing professional. The role supports key initiatives by producing weekly social media content, preparing marketing-ready imagery, and maintaining an organized library of marketing assets. It also assists with the production of internal and external print and digital materials, supports our weekly staff newsletter and client email campaigns, and contributes to additional communications deliverables as needed, including basic reporting and presentation support.

Role Responsibilities- Produce and prepare weekly social media content across Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Linked In, adapting and repurposing existing assets as needed.
- Create marketing-ready imagery in Adobe Photoshop, including image selection, colour correction, cropping, and optimization for print and web.
- Curate and maintain an organized marketing asset library by selecting, filing, and categorizing photos, videos, and key collateral.
- Create brand‑aligned print and digital collateral using Adobe InDesign and other Adobe Creative Suite programs, developing new content or utilizing and adjusting existing Para Space templates.
- Draft written content under direction for social media, marketing materials, email campaigns, and the weekly staff newsletter, aligned with Para Space’s brand voice.
- Draft and build email campaigns in Constant Contact by utilizing and adjusting existing templates.
- Support additional communications deliverables as needed, including basic reporting, campaign performance tracking, and presentation preparation using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Collaborate with internal teams and participate in meetings to support consistency in branding and messaging across communications efforts.
- 2 years of experience in a similar role
or post‑secondary education in Marketing, Business, or a related field (recent graduates welcome). - Advanced computer skills, including proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office.
- Experience creating content for social media platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Linked In.
- Familiarity using an email marketing platform and building email campaigns (e.g.
Constant Contact or similar). - Strong written English and attention to detail, with an interest in storytelling and visual communication.
