Tulip is a retail software company that partners with leading retailers to provide a mobile platform for store associates. We are looking for a highly organized and results-oriented Events Marketing Manager (Contract) to own and execute our overall event strategy, from large industry trade shows to intimate events. This role is the strategic and operational hub of our event marketing, requiring a leader who can build a high-impact event plan and manage the logistics to create an innovative brand experience.
Responsibilities- Own the Event Strategy: Develop and own the annual event strategy and calendar, identifying the optimal mix of large trade shows, sponsored programs, and Tulip-owned events to maximize brand impact and lead generation.
- Master Event Operations: Own all operational logistics for the event program, ensuring flawless execution through planning, budget tracking, vendor negotiation, shipping coordination, and on-site management.
- Drive Trade Show Success: Develop creative and exciting booth experiences and targeted activations to make our brand stand out and create memorable attendee impressions.
- Bridge Events to Lead Generation: Analyze pre-event attendee lists to identify and segment our ICP, and collaborate with Sales to ensure high-quality lead capture and effective follow-up.
- Measure and Optimize: Track, measure, and report on event performance against KPIs, focusing on lead generation, pipeline influence, and ROI to refine the strategy.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in B2B event management, with a focus on mid-to-large-scale trade shows.
- Experience in or marketing to the retail industry is an asset.
- Demonstrated excellence in event operations, budget management, and logistics; you are a detailed planner.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales and Marketing Operations to turn event activity into business results.
- Resourceful and creative mindset, with the ability to create exciting and innovative brand experiences within a budget.
- Confidence and autonomy to own the event function from strategy to hands-on execution.
