About the Role

By joining the Kardium team, you can help make a difference in the lives of millions around the world. We have developed a ground‑breaking medical device for the diagnosis and treatment of atrial fibrillation – which can cause stroke, heart failure, and other heart‑related complications.

As a machinist, you will be involved in machining components and assemblies used for manufacturing and testing of medical devices. You will receive solid models and/or drawings from R&D engineers and, with the guidance of the senior machinist, use in‑house equipment to manufacture parts to specifications.

Responsibilities include shop organization, tool and material restocking, machine repair and maintenance, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Qualifications
  • Solid knowledge of machine tool operation
  • Prior experience with manual milling and turning machines
  • Highly organized and proactive
  • Capable of executing tasks with minimal instruction and guidance
  • Enthusiastic about finding innovative solutions to unforeseen challenges
  • Successful history of teamwork
Preferred (but not required)
  • Light mechanical assembly skills
  • Experience with Fanuc and Haas CNC machine interface
  • Willingness to adjust schedule for machine availability
  • Knowledge of CAD and CAM systems
