Position: VP Operations (Revenue and Execution)

Overview

Long-term HQ relocating to Port Moody / Tri-Cities (Port Moody / Coquitlam)

This is not a corporate COO role.

This is an operator seat.

Talent Harbour is a people-based professional services business scaling quickly through organic growth and acquisitions. We’re looking for a VP Operations / COO-calibre leader to own execution, people, and operating discipline as we scale, without breaking service quality, culture, or values.

If execution slips, standards drift, or growth creates friction, this role owns the fix.

What You’ll Own (No Grey Areas)
  • Lead the business day-to-day
  • Hire and retain A-players (no passengers)
  • Put the right people in the right seats and move quickly when they’re not
  • Address issues early, directly and with respect
  • Build leaders beneath you so the business doesn’t rely on one person
Operations That Drive Growth
  • Translate growth goals into staffing and execution plans
  • Improve utilization, speed, and throughput
  • Remove bottlenecks that limit performance and growth
  • Protect margins through disciplined execution
Cross-Selling & Recurring Revenue
  • Build systems that expand accounts across the client lifecycle
  • Shift the business from one-off work to longer-term engagements
  • Make growth more predictable and repeatable
  • Build out a cross selling system for our group of companies.
Sales Execution (With Leadership)
  • Partner closely with our VP, Revenue & Client Services
  • Enforce CRM discipline and clean pipelines
  • Run weekly pipeline and deal accountability
  • Ensure clean handoffs from sales to delivery
Systems & Execution
  • Run the business using EOS / Scaling Up-style cadence or similar
  • Build SOPs people actually follow (checklists > manuals)
  • Implement scorecards for every role
  • Partner closely with our VP of Technology to implement the right technology and AI systems that eliminate manual administrative work and increase speed, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Lead clean, fast acquisition integrations

This role works directly with the founders of JL Davis Enterprises award-winning Canadian entrepreneurs with deep, hands-on operating experience.
