Janitor Driver

Job Description

ATCO Frontec is seeking a Janitor Driver to join our Camp Services team in Northern British Columbia. The Janitor Driver is responsible for keeping our facilities clean and ensuring high sanitation standards are maintained throughout the lodge.

Location: Northern British Columbia

Wage: $19.00/hour (subject to change)

Rotation: Rotational schedule 28 days working, 14 days off

• Perform floor maintenance tasks including waxing, polishing, and buffing.
• Safely handle and apply cleaning chemicals according to guidelines.
• Operate floor‑care machinery such as buffers, scrubbers, and Zamboni‑type equipment.
• Maintain the highest sanitation standards throughout the lodge
• Ensure proper upkeep and maintenance of all cleaning equipment
• Clean lobbies, restrooms, offices, walkways, ramps, and stairways
• Keep indoor and outdoor walkways clear of snow and mud
• Sweep, scrub, strip/wax, and polish floors; clean rugs
• Dust furniture and clean walls, ceilings, and woodwork
• Empty waste bins and transport rubbish to disposal areas
• Replenish bathroom supplies and deliver water or other supplies
• Remove garbage and perform other duties as assigned
• Drive a company vehicle

• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
• Must be able to clear a criminal background check
• Minimum 1 year of janitorial or floor maintenance experience
• Experience in a remote camp environment is essential
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proficiency in English
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete online training
• Ability to lift to 40 lbs and work in a fast‑paced environment
• Must have a valid Driver's License
