Automation and Mechatronics Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Automation and Mechatronics Specialist to join our team in Burnaby, BC. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in PLC and embedded systems integration, programming, and field service installation. Pay Rate:$45 – $55 per hour (based on qualifications and experience)
Shift:Full‑time position with approved overtime when required

What You’ll Be Doing:

• PLC and Embedded Systems Integration – Programming, HMI creation, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting
• Field Service Installation & Maintenance – Travel as needed to install and repair systems
• Technical Documentation – Prepare manuals, procedures, and service reports
• Project Management & Collaboration – Work closely with project managers, technicians, and regulatory bodies

What You’ll Need to Qualify:

• PLC Programming & HMI Creation (Opto
  22 or Siemens S7-1200 experience is an asset)
• C, C++, or C# programming familiarity is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to use hand tools, multimeters, and oscilloscopes
• Valid Driver’s License for local travel
• Ability to travel internationally, including to the US
