What you’ll accomplish with usAs a Senior Data Analyst, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:
- Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models and pipelines using Power BI, SQL Server, Azure, Snowflake and Google Cloud.
- Integrate data from multiple sources, including cloud and on-premises environments.
- Build interactive, visually compelling dashboards and reports in Power BI
- Optimize report performance and usability for business users.
- Build and share data sets that meet users requirements
- Adhere to iA’s Power BI governance model, including policies, frameworks, and standards.
- Strong understanding of data quality principles with a strong technical presence to navigate a variety of databases.
- Document processes, methodologies, and maintain clear records for reports and data models.
- Work with application developers, data engineers, and business analysts to integrate Power BI solutions into broader business applications.
- Support the automation of reporting and contribute to operational efficiency initiatives.
- Stay updated on emerging BI technologies, including AI-enhanced analytics features in Power BI.

- Is known for their excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Stands out for their strong proficiency in DAX, M language, SQL, and data modeling
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of data governance and compliance requirements for data and analytics.
- Is recognized for their experience with Azure, Snowflake, and data warehouse design and Google cloud
- Has 3+ years of experience with Power BI development in an enterprise setting.

The typical hiring range for this position is between $95,000 and $105,000 CAD per year; the base salary offered may vary depending on knowledge, skills, years of experience, and internal equity related to the role. At iA, we are committed to offering a fair, equitable, and market-based compensation structure. Our market data is updated annually to reflect the most current market conditions.
