Position Summary
Are you a strategic and detail-oriented project leader who thrives on delivering impactful technology solutions? We are looking for someone to join our team who has a passion for managing complex enterprise system projects that drive organizational success and innovation. The Project Manager, Enterprise Systems plays a key role in leading the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise systems initiatives that support the Justice Institute of British Columbia’s (JIBC) mission and goals.
In this role, you will oversee the full project life cycle—from gathering business requirements and defining scope through to implementation, integration, and evaluation—ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. You will lead interdisciplinary project teams, allocate resources effectively, and provide clear direction and guidance to ensure project success. The Project Manager will also work closely with departmental teams, external vendors, and key stakeholders across the organization to build strong relationships, facilitate collaboration, and align project outcomes with institutional priorities.
This position is also responsible for ensuring that project management best practices are applied consistently, including effective documentation, reporting, risk management, and quality assurance. You will develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and schedules, provide regular progress updates, and contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and implementing opportunities for enhanced system functionality and business process efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree, such as IT, Computer Science, Business Management, or Engineering
- Expert level Project Management skills and education;
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred - Minimum of five years of experience managing projects within software development and systems environments, with demonstrated experience leading ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solutions, SaaS or COTS implementations
- Education and/or experience in business process improvement, as well as the development and implementation of new processes, is also preferred
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered
- Extensive technical knowledge and experience with computer tools and software, including project management software, spreadsheets, diagram and flowcharting software and other productivity and budgeting tools and software
- Experience in working across large, complex organizations with all levels of staff and leaders and influencing key stakeholders
- Experience leading teams and managing people
- Experience with change management practices related to enterprise systems, business process transformation, or technology‑enabled change is an asset.
