Senior Manager, Canadian Resource Centre; CRC – Data and Analytics

We are looking to hire a full-time Senior Manager to join the CRC National Management team. The CRC Senior Manager will assist audit business units and the CRC Champions network D&A Center monthly reporting and budget modelling to manage CRC objectives and related KPIs.

A primary role is to provide direct support and guidance to both offshore and onshore teams so that Canadian audit engagement teams can leverage the CRC D&A Center of Excellence on their audits.

The position may require international travel and work from India.

• Operations
  :
  Oversee day-to-day operations of the CRC D&A Center of Excellence in collaboration with the CRC national management team and the CDST team; provide direct support to audit engagement teams to leverage the Center on engagements; assist in overseeing the Quality (QMCI) team at the CRC in India by identifying areas for quality improvement and implementing solutions; prepare training materials and guidance documents for the internal CRC portal;
  
  ensure active support of the business using firm processes and programs.
• Data & Analytics
  :
  Identify potential new services, offerings, and tools to enhance audit engagement teams’ experience; perform annual budgeting, forecasting and hours/FTE modelling using data analytics programs; participate in business development by identifying opportunities and assisting with proposals; coordinate with onshore/offshore teams to ensure licensing and access controls; review and approve requests for access to standard software and tools (e.g., Visio Pro, Alteryx, Power
  
  BI).
• Other
  :
  Act as a performance manager to junior team members; be willing to travel internationally and obtain requisite visas/work permits for India; support policy interpretation and application as required; align work hours for offshore overlap to ensure operational oversight.

• Canadian CPA designation or international equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in a public practice accounting firm, with at least 5 years in a management role.
• Senior manager or equivalent with at least 2 years of experience with KPMG Canada.
• Minimum 5 years of auditing and team management experience.
• Degree in computer science, database management or programming (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency with databases (SQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc.) is an asset.
• Experience with analytics and visualization tools (Power BI, Power Query, Python, R, Alteryx, Power Apps/Power Automate).
• Knowledge of Service Now is an asset.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, mentoring, and time-management skills.
• Fluent in English; bilingual in French and English is an asset.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working in both virtual and in-person environments.

The expected base salary range for this position is CA $86,000 to CA $150,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. Total rewards are competitive and depend on location, skills, competencies, and qualifications.
