Reporting to the Manager, Technology Engineering, the Cloud Technology Engineer supports the organization’s cloud strategy by designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost‑effective cloud architectures. The role evaluates emerging cloud technologies, provides recommendations for adoption, oversees cloud workloads, supports the establishment of governance frameworks, drives migration initiatives and optimizes cloud performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and administration and configuration of enterprise‑grade IT infrastructure.
• Considerable experience planning, researching, designing, and qualifying cloud and on‑premise infrastructure solutions.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience acceptable to the Employer.

• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft and Oracle environments.
• Extensive knowledge of High Availability and Disaster Recovery in the cloud.
• Considerable knowledge of deploying applications and containers using Microsoft Azure services.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with Dev Ops tools and techniques.
• Working knowledge of the following platforms:
  • Oracle Web Logic, RDBMS, Java/J2EE, Oracle ADF
  • .NET / SQL Server
  • Linux
• Experience with cloud automation and infrastructure‑as‑code (Bicep, Terraform, ARM templates).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, decision‑making, organizational and time‑management skills.
• Strong oral, written communication and presentation skills.
• Collaboration across cross‑functional stakeholders and influencing decision‑making at all organization levels.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to plan and execute migration to cloud services aligned with the organization’s strategic direction.
