Match Box is urgently seeking an experienced Senior Application Developer for a 2-month contract to design, develop, and support integration-driven healthcare applications. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development skills, experience with modern Dev Ops practices, and deep familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 v2 and FHIR.
You will work closely with architects, integration specialists, and QA teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions in a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust application and integration components using best practices
- Build and support healthcare data integrations using HL7 v2, HL7
XFER, and FHIR
- Develop and optimize Postgre
SQL database schemas, queries, and performance
- Deploy and manage applications on Open Shift (Kubernetes-based platforms)
- Implement authentication and authorization using Keycloak
- Collaborate with Dev Ops teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub and Git Hub Actions
- Ensure code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and static/dynamic analysis
- Create and execute API and integration tests using ReadyAPI
- Support test management and quality reporting using Xray
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex application and integration issues
- Produce clear technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams
- Proven experience as a Senior Application Developer or similar role
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- PostgreSQL
- Open Shift / Kubernetes
- HL7 v2 messaging and healthcare integrations
- FHIR APIs and resources
- HL7

- Keycloak for identity and access management
- Git Hub for source control
- Git Hub Actions for CI/CD automation
- Ready
API for API and integration testing
- Xray for test management
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and integration patterns
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Prior experience in healthcare, clinical, or regulated environments
- Exposure to security, compliance, or data privacy standards
- Experience working with distributed, remote teams
