Role DescriptionWe’re looking for a hands‑on, tech‑savvy HR Specialist to join our team at our head office in Sainte‑Sophie, Québec. This role combines day‑to‑day HR operations with the improvement of HR systems and processes. You’ll be a trusted business partner for managers and employees, helping build and scale our HR function as the company continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a trusted partner to employees and managers on all HR matters, including onboarding, performance management, benefits, and policy interpretation.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
- Lead or support the implementation, enhancement, and optimization of the HRIS system.
- Streamline and automate HR processes to improve efficiency, data integrity, and reporting accuracy.
- Contribute to HR projects that drive employee engagement, culture, and organizational effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of progressive HR experience (including generalist responsibilities and HRIS management).
- Experience implementing or optimizing HR systems (Workday, ADP, Bamboo
HR, Dayforce, or similar). - Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment law, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and HR data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
- Salary: $70,000 – $95,000 per year (based on experience)
