Overview

Regulatory Affairs Advisor – BC Housing – responsible for leading regulatory initiatives related to affordable housing, ensuring alignment with contractual, regulatory, and legislative requirements.

Location:

Burnaby, B.C.

• Provide expert guidance on housing regulatory, contractual, and risk implications.
• Lead housing initiative projects, conduct independent research and analysis, and manage external contractors.
• Prepare recommendations and reports for senior leadership, the Board of Commissioners, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, participate in working groups, and foster relationships with government agencies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Law, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
• Considerable experience in leading and managing business strategy, project management, and communications.
• Sound knowledge of the affordable housing sector in B.C. and ability to apply intersectional approaches.
• Strong strategic, analytical, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, exercise sound judgment, and demonstrate empathy and emotional intelligence.
