- Maintain requirements traceability from specification through verification evidence.
- Support functional safety validation of safety functions to ISO 13849 PL targets, including fault-injection and diagnostic coverage verification.
- Contribute to DFMEA, PFMEA, and reliability growth planning.
- Use ALM tools (e.g., Polarion, Jama, DOORS) to maintain traceability from requirements to validation.
- Facilitate validation testing using facility infrastructure including:
- Vibration and shock analysis.
- EMC/EMI chambers for emissions and immunity.
- High-voltage test systems (insulation resistance, hipot, HV interlock loop, contactor behavior, fault response).
- Environmental chambers for temperature, humidity, ingress, and thermal cycling.
- Instrument vehicles and subsystems using DAQ systems, thermocouples, strain/vibration sensors, and HV measurement equipment.
- Perform failure investigation, root-cause analysis, and corrective action validation.
