Meaningful work you will be a part of

You will engage in activities that develop practical and transferable skills such as:

• Supporting the procurement team by issuing, tracking, and expediting purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery of materials and services.
• Collaborating with suppliers to obtain quotes, confirm lead times, and manage changes to delivery schedules.
• Assisting in supplier evaluations and developing tools to track supplier performance using KPIs such as on-time delivery and quality metrics.
• Working cross-functionally with teams such as planning, logistics, and engineering to align material availability with production needs.
• Performing usage analysis to support sourcing decisions and identify opportunities for savings.
• Maintaining accurate procurement data in ERP systems and supporting continuous improvements in purchasing processes.
• Learning to interpret part drawings and specifications to ensure purchasing documentation is complete and compliant.
• Assisting in documentation management such as FAIRs, PPAPs, and supplier compliance certificate.
• Assist with Administration support on the Procurement Team
• Provide assistance with Procurement Team initiatives and projects as required

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (an asset).
