Part-Time English & Math Teacher/Tutor

Oxford Learning Centres Inc. is seeking a Part‑Time English & Math Teacher/Tutor to help students succeed in English and Math. This position is ideal for anyone who loves working with students, enjoys teaching language, and is passionate about helping others build skills.

Able to work 2‑4 days a week from 3:30 pm‑6:30 pm and/or Saturdays 9:00 am‑12:00 pm. A commitment for the school year is preferred. This role is in‑person; you must be able to commute to the location. Relocation packages are not available. Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.

• Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field, or university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered.
• Good knowledge of the current Kindergarten to Grade 12 curriculum.

• Some experience teaching/tutoring at a Kindergarten to Grade 12 (or equivalent) level.
• Strong English written and oral communication skills and ability to guide students’ understanding.
• Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time.

• Teaching up to 3 students at a time at different levels.
• Teaching online and in‑person.
• Following the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.
• Completing daily student communication updates.
• Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times.
