The Social Media Strategist Manager is responsible for developing and leading social media strategy across the label’s artist roster. This role works closely with artists and internal teams to build compelling, culturally relevant social media presences that drive fan engagement, audience growth, and long-term brand equity. The role manages and mentors a team of Social Media Content Strategists, ensuring high creative standards, strategic alignment, and consistent execution across platforms.

Duties & Responsibilities:- Develop and oversee tailored social media strategies for artists across platforms (Instagram, Tik Tok, X, You Tube, etc.)
- Collaborate directly with artists to shape their digital voice, tone, and visual storytelling
- Align social content with release cycles, tours, campaigns, and broader artist branding
- Identify growth opportunities through platform trends, content formats, and audience insights
- Lead ideation and creative planning for social content, including short-form video, series concepts, and campaign rollouts
- Ensure content is innovative, platform-native, and culturally relevant
- Structure and oversee content calendars and long-term content planning
- Balance strategic objectives with authentic, artist-driven creativity
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Social Media Content Strategists
- Assign projects, review work, and maintain consistent quality across the team
- Establish workflows, best practices, and performance standards
- Foster a collaborative, creative, and growth-oriented team culture
- Track and analyze social performance metrics to inform strategy and content decisions
- Optimize posting schedules, formats, and creative approaches based on data insights
- Report on growth, engagement, and campaign performance to internal stakeholders
- Work closely with artist management, marketing, digital, A&R, and creative teams
- Ensure social strategies align with overall artist, label, and campaign objectives
- Support integrated marketing efforts across digital and physical touchpoints
- Stay ahead of social media trends, platform updates, and emerging creator formats
- Monitor cultural moments, memes, and audience behaviors relevant to artists and music marketing
- Apply trend insights strategically without sacrificing artist authenticity
- Oversee publishing, scheduling, and community management workflows
- Ensure brand safety, platform compliance, and consistent voice across accounts
- Support crisis management and rapid response when needed
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in social media management and strategy, preferably in music or entertainment
- Proven success growing social media audiences and engagement
- Experience managing and mentoring a social media or content team
- Strong creative instincts and understanding of platform-native content
- Hands‑on knowledge of Tik Tok, Instagram, You Tube, and social analytics
- Experience collaborating directly with artists or talent
- Data‑informed approach to strategy and optimization
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Deep understanding of internet culture, music culture, and social trends
