Match Box Consulting is on the hunt for a Construction officer. The Construction Proffessional leads large, complex infrastructure projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Contract:
1 year
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate construction activities, including resource allocation, scheduling, and contractor management.
Ensure site safety and compliance with applicable safety standards and regulations.
Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks, including environmental, safety, and stakeholder considerations.
Support stakeholder engagement and communication, maintaining positive relationships with internal teams, contractors, and external parties.
Provide expertise on committees and project teams, and assist in managing claims and construction-related documentation.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 9 years of construction management experience or equivalent.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, estimating, contract management, and project management.
Excellent understanding of safety standards and regulations.
Advanced professional English skills, both written and spoken.
Class 5 driver’s license and own vehicle suitable for travel on ROW.
