Construction Officer

Match Box Consulting is on the hunt for a Construction officer. The Construction Proffessional leads large, complex infrastructure projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Contract:

1 year

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate construction activities, including resource allocation, scheduling, and contractor management.

• Ensure site safety and compliance with applicable safety standards and regulations.

• Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks, including environmental, safety, and stakeholder considerations.

• Support stakeholder engagement and communication, maintaining positive relationships with internal teams, contractors, and external parties.

• Provide expertise on committees and project teams, and assist in managing claims and construction-related documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 9 years of construction management experience or equivalent.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, estimating, contract management, and project management.

• Excellent understanding of safety standards and regulations.

• Advanced professional English skills, both written and spoken.

• Class 5 driver’s license and own vehicle suitable for travel on ROW.
