Laugh and Children Centre Ltd Daycare Supervisor

· Wage: $29.00~$37.00/hour (depending on experience)

Job Duties:

· Assess and monitor each child’s developmental progress to design and implement individualized learning plans

· Develop and oversee child care programs that foster the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth of children

· Supervise and provide guidance to staff, trainees, and volunteers to ensure quality program delivery and compliance with policies

· Plan and maintain a safe, healthy, and inclusive environment that supports the well-being and security of children

· Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and organizational standards

· Conduct observations of children’s behaviour and development, and prepare reports for parents, guardians, and relevant stakeholders

· Lead and coordinate activities that encourage creativity, self-expression, and social interaction through art, music, storytelling, and play

· Establish and enforce guidelines for positive behaviour and conflict resolution

· Organize and facilitate staff meetings to discuss program effectiveness, child progress, and areas for improvement

· Establish and maintain effective relationships with parents, co-workers, and community service providers to support children’s needs

· Plan and coordinate activities for school-age children during before- and after-school care programs
