Job DescriptionThe Child & Youth Home Support Worker position involves supporting a youth with developmental disabilities in the comfort of their own home. The successful candidate will facilitate community‑based activities, teach life skills, foster independence, assist in planning social events, and support daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and homework.
What You Bring To The Job- Experience working with children or youth.
- A class 5 driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
- Current First Aid training.
- A clean driving and criminal record.
- Willingness to learn and implement Trauma‑Informed Support, Positive Behaviour Supports, and MANDT.
- Ability to connect and communicate with the individuals we serve in a respectful way and be supportive of their needs.
- A positive attitude.
