2019re looking for a Manager, Finance to lead the accounting controllership for our Sobeys British Columbia Central Kitchen.

2019ll be focusing on*
* Oversee all accounting operations at the British Columbia Central Kitchen, including internal controls, reconciliations, and approvals of accounting transactions, ensuring adherence to Sobeys policies.
Develop, implement, and continuously improve procedures and system controls over accounting transactions that mitigate risk and support scalability.
Produce daily, weekly, and monthly financial recaps for the British Columbia Central Kitchen production operations team, measuring performance against budget and standards, and communicating variance analyses to stakeholders at the production facility and within Sobeys.
Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of Central Kitchen operations.
Manage the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts for British Columbia Central Kitchen operations, coordinating input from crossu
2011functional stakeholders.
Provide financial analysis as needed and identify/recommend opportunities to drive value for the organization.
Supervise daily accounting deliverables for the Central Kitchen team, including transactions, inventories, and expenses.
Perform additional related duties as required to support evolving business needs.

** What you should have*
* CPA designation or postu
2011secondary education in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting or a related field, plus a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or operationsu
2011based accounting environments is an asset.
Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel and ERP systems (SAP or similar preferred).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both Finance and nonu
2011

Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
