Who You Are:

You are aseasoned and strategic sales leader with a proven ability to drive growth, leadhigh-performing teams, and deliver results in a competitive market. You possess strong business acumen, a deep understanding of customer needs, and the abilityto develop and execute strategies that create lasting value. What You’ll Do:

Health & Safety

  • Champion a culture ofsafety, ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies.
  • Partner with the Director of Operations to drive the adoption and continuous improvement ofsafety initiatives across the market.

Strategic Leadership:

  • Shape and execute the market’s strategic direction, contributing to the organization’s overall growth and profitability.
  • Evaluate and optimize the branch’s organizational structure aligning all internal and company functions to support sustainable growth and operational efficiency.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing talent focused onprofitable growth and effective resource utilization.
  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of collaboration,accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and drive professional development to maximize team effectiveness.
  • Establish and communicate the Ames Value proposition.
  • Assist with building the Ames Brand andmarket share position and create demand for our products and services.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies that drive new customer acquisition(NCA) and expand market share across all conditions.
  • Leverage market insights and customer feedback to create innovative,profitable sales strategies tailored to each product sector.
  • Analyze customer needs, pain points, and market trends to informstrategic decisions and enhance customer experience.
  • Own the entire sales funnel—from lead generation to dealclosure—ensuring seamless alignment with support functions.
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts and budgets, providing critical inputto the executive team and board regarding strategic direction.
  • Collaborate with marketing to strengthen brand visibility and promote products effectively.
  • Partner with the Senior Leadership Team to identify and execute businessexpansion opportunities.

Accounts& Strategic Partnerships:

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, strategic allies and partnerships , andgrowth channels.
  • Represent Ames Tile & Stone at key industry events, serving as abrand ambassador and thought leader.
  • Promote and implement best practices consistently across the market, in collaboration with the National A&D Director and Director of Operations.
  • Champion Ames’ culture and values, acting as a role model for integrity,leadership, and customer focus.
  • Ensure exceptional customer experience, fostering long-term client relationships and brand loyalty.

Your Experience &

Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field; MBAis an asset.
  • 8+ years of sales leadership experience with a strong track record ofdriving growth and leading high-performing teams.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans aligned with business goals.
  • Strong business acumen with experience in forecasting, budgeting, andmarket analysis.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation toclosing.
