Job DescriptionWestminster Toyota has been located in the centre of the lower mainland in New Westminster for over 30 years. We recently completed construction of our brand new state of the art dealership located at 1050 Boyd Street in Queensborough, New Westminster and we are looking to add to our growing service department team. We are seeking a fully trained automotive technician to join our team.
In this role you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on Toyota cars and trucks with a high level of care and accuracy. You will also perform reconditioning work on our used inventory. You take pride in your work, are very efficient, and enjoy being part of a team that is quick to find solutions. We are extremely proud of the service we provide to our long-time customers.
- Government issued automotive service technician license
- Previous Toyota and/or dealership experience an asset
- Government inspector certificate an asset
- Reynolds & Reynolds or ADP operating system experience an asset
- Valid B.C. driver's license with clean abstract and no restrictions
- Able to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Full set of tools and diagnostic equipment (some equipment provided by Westminster Toyota)
- Good knowledge and mechanical aptitude of many automotive operating systems
- Excellent organization skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment without constant supervision
This is a full-time position. Schedule will be Monday - Friday or Tuesday - Saturday, 8 hours/day.
