About the Role

The Executive Assistant provides confidential administrative and secretarial support to the Office of the Provost and Vice‑President Academic, by responding to a wide range of general and confidential inquiries; writing and preparing correspondence; liaising with internal and external contacts; and monitoring and initiating follow‑up actions and research that support the itinerary of senior leaders in this office. The Executive Assistant has primary responsibility for coordinating and maintaining appointment calendar(s);

scheduling regular committee and other meetings; managing various domestic and international travel schedules and arrangements; and coordinating special events. The Executive Assistant provides highly confidential administrative support to the search processes for senior administrative and academic positions in the Provost's Office as assigned.

Qualifications

Two-year Diploma in Business or Administrative Management or related field, and four years of directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

  • Superior Organization and Prioritization Skills — The ability to effectively manage tasks, prioritize workload, and stay organized.
  • Excellent Communication Skills (Oral and Written) — Strong ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
  • Analytical and Problem‑Solving Skills — The capability to assess situations, analyze data, and develop effective solutions.
