About the RoleThe Executive Assistant provides confidential administrative and secretarial support to the Office of the Provost and Vice‑President Academic, by responding to a wide range of general and confidential inquiries; writing and preparing correspondence; liaising with internal and external contacts; and monitoring and initiating follow‑up actions and research that support the itinerary of senior leaders in this office. The Executive Assistant has primary responsibility for coordinating and maintaining appointment calendar(s);
scheduling regular committee and other meetings; managing various domestic and international travel schedules and arrangements; and coordinating special events. The Executive Assistant provides highly confidential administrative support to the search processes for senior administrative and academic positions in the Provost's Office as assigned.
Full Job Description
QualificationsTwo-year Diploma in Business or Administrative Management or related field, and four years of directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Superior Organization and Prioritization Skills — The ability to effectively manage tasks, prioritize workload, and stay organized.
- Excellent Communication Skills (Oral and Written) — Strong ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Analytical and Problem‑Solving Skills — The capability to assess situations, analyze data, and develop effective solutions.
