Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Day Shift Contract | Burlington, WI 53105

Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a 13-week travel nursing contract in Burlington, Wisconsin with consistent 8-hour day shifts, Epic charting, and exposure to inpatient/outpatient/ER surgical cases across General, GYN, ENT, Urology, Ortho, Podiatry, and Vascular service lines (including peds ENT cases ~5–10%).

• Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $1,950–$2,050/week

• Location: On-site in Burlington, WI 53105 (Wisconsin travel nursing job)
• Start Date: 03/16/2026
• End Date: 06/13/2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Facility/Setting: Operating Room (OR) setting
• Schedule: 40 hours/week
• Shift: 8 Hour Days (Day Shift)
• On-Call: Every 6th weekend (Friday afternoon–Monday morning) and 1 night per week; 30-minute response time
• Floating: May float to Southern Lakes and Lakeland as scheduled; weekly schedule provided
• Charting/Systems: Epic (required), Pyxis, Alaris

• Experience: 2+ years of recent OR RN experience required; circulating required. Pediatric exposure preferred (ENT peds cases ~5–10% of caseload)
• Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Perioperative Skills: Critical thinking, independent decision-making, ability to recognize and respond to rapid situational changes, multitasking, and strong interdisciplinary communication
• Other: Ability to take call with required response time; comfort floating as scheduled

• Deliver safe, high-quality perioperative patient care as an OR circulator across service lines including General, GYN, ENT, Urology, Ortho, Podiatry, and Vascular (inpatient/outpatient/ER cases)
• Complete pre-op verification, time-outs, positioning, skin prep, and accurate intraoperative documentation in Epic
• Anticipate patient and surgical team needs, coordinate resources, and communicate changes in patient condition promptly
• Maintain sterile field awareness and support aseptic technique; ensure equipment and supply readiness and troubleshoot as needed
• Partner with surgeons, anesthesia, charge nurse, and support staff to promote efficient room turnover and patient flow
• Participate in on-call coverage and respond within required time frames
