JOB REQUIREMENTS:
LDV, Inc. is the world leader in the manufacture of custom specialty vehicles, located in Burlington, Wisconsin. We build state-of-the-art, 45-foot mobile command centers with satellite communications, SWAT and tactical vehicles, real life CSI trucks, Snap‑on tool trucks and more. This is a rare opportunity to join our team! We are seeking a part-time, first shift Upholsterer/Builder with a variety of skills and experience to assist in building and installing components in custom vehicles.

Job Responsibilities Include
- Manufacturing leather, vinyl, fabric and wood‑covered products.
- Stitching a variety of materials together using an industrial sewing machine.
- Cutting and shaping plywood, aluminum, and other substrates.
- Installation of flooring, walls, ceilings, cabinets, shelves, doors, windows, and trim.
- Cutting, drilling, and assembling brackets, supports, and other items required to mount custom components.
- Fit, install, and secure material on frames, using hand tools, power tools, glue, cement, or staples.
- Measure and cut new covering materials, using patterns and measuring instruments, following sketches and design specifications.
- Experience with upholstery, power tools, and measuring is desired, but we are willing to train the right people.
- Quality, accuracy, and the ability to work within a crew in a fast‑paced environment.
- Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and/or metal fabrication skills are a plus.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
