Job Responsibilities
- Use measuring devices to lay out and fit steel for welding.
- Weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positions per blueprints.
- Grind and smooth edges for a finished product.
- Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- 3+ years of welding experience (fitting experience preferred).
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
- Strong math skills for accurate layout and fitting.
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
