Faculty facilitate student learning and initiate and participate in efforts to consistently improve the level of student success. As learning facilitators, faculty consistently assess learning outcomes and their own teaching effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in any field, EMS Instructor II certification AND 2 years (4000 hours) of occupational experience as a licensed Paramedic.
- Associate Degree in any field, EMS Instructor II certification AND 4 years (8000 hours) of occupational experience as a licensed Paramedic.
- No degree, EMS Instructor II certification AND 7 years (14000 hours) of occupational experience as a Paramedic.
- Current WA State Paramedic license.
Preferred:
- Current BLS Instructor (American Heart Association)
- Current ACLS Instructor (American Heart Association)
- Current PALS Instructor (American Heart Association)
* Included in the above experience, at least 2,000 hours of demonstrated relevant occupational experience must be within the last five years OR at least 2 years of full-time (8 semesters of part-time) post secondary teaching experience in the occupational field must be within the last five years.
Additional Skills, Knowledge and Abilities- Working experience with computer software systems.
- Ability to work with a diverse group of related students.
- Skilled in teaching a wide range of related subjects.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective problem solving skills.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate day, evening and weekend students.
