Mechanic Systems Technician

Munson Boats is seeking a Mechanic Systems Technician to join our team in manufacturing welded aluminum boats for worldwide clients, including fire/rescue boats, research vessels, high-speed patrol boats, USCG-certified passenger boats, and more. Our boats are assembled in a state of the art production facility with radiant floor heat providing a comfortable work environment throughout the year.

This is a full-time opportunity with a four-day workweek (Monday – Thursday, 10-hour shifts), allowing for a great work-life balance with a three day weekend every week.

At Munson Boats, we operate a structured and highly organized shop, ensuring efficiency and top-tier craftsmanship. You will join a crew of 3-4 persons who will be responsible for outfitting a highly customized vessel to final completion. We have a backlog of over two years of projects sold, offering stability and consistent year-round work for our team.

• Install and integrate mechanical, electrical, navigation, communication, propulsion and plumbing systems using all brand new components.
• Work with diesel and gasoline engines, pumps, hydraulics, generators, HVAC, and fuel systems.
• Assemble and install steering, control systems, and marine hardware.
• Read installation instructions and interpret schematics and system diagrams.
• Ensure systems meet safety, performance, and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Experience in mechanical, electrical, or systems installation.
• Knowledge of engines, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.

• Four ten work week. Monday – Thursday with every Friday off.
