Customer Service Rep, Accounts Receivable/ Collections

Job ResponsibilitiesIdeal candidates will possess a high level of detail, initiative, discretion and independent judgment, with a positive attitude. Candidates should be flexible and detail oriented with a great attitude. Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Build and maintain excellent customer relationships.
- Assist customers with billing, service, payment questions and collections.
- Update, maintain and reconcile account information.
- Negotiate collection arrangements for overdue account balances.
- Perform initial credit account setup and accounts receivables duties.
- Build and maintain cross-functional relationships throughout the company.
- Compile credit data following established company policies and guidelines.
- Carry out continual process improvement and effective delivery of credit services.
- Follow all company policies, procedures and Sarbanes Oxley controls.
- Perform general administrative duties (answer and direct telephone calls on a multiline phone system, transport mail to and from the post office, open and process incoming mail, filing and other clerical duties).
- Exhibit an ability to receive feedback, adapt to new processes and continuously develop skills.
- Develop positive work relationships with other staff. Demonstrate the ability to collaborate, communicate well and effectively relay information.
- Practice punctual and reliable attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years’ collection experience.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Proven track record of being dependable and reliable.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Lift, carry, push and pull up to 30 pounds.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen as a condition of employment.
This is a full-time, in person, 40 hours per week position. Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
$25.00 – $30.00/hour. After meeting eligibility requirements, benefits include:
