Skagit Farmers Supply, based in Burlington, WA, has been in business since 1934, and continues to grow and adapt to meet the needs of the farmers, homeowners, businesses, families, and communities in the Pacific Northwest. We operate Agronomy, Propane, Refined Fuels, Wholesale and Milling divisions as well as our retail Country Store locations in Washington and Montana.

Job Responsibilities

Ideal candidates will possess an extremely high level of attention to detail, initiative, discretion and independent judgment with a positive attitude and the ability to multi-task. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Serve as a liaison by greeting and directing visitors, including vendors, clients, job candidates and customers.
  • Answer incoming calls and redirect them as appropriate.
  • Provide answers to customer inquiries about their accounts, the company and its services.
  • Process and balancing daily paperwork and deposits.
  • Process accounts receivables payments, daily payment portals and deposits.
  • Provide excellent customer service. Demonstr of ownership and accountability for resolving issues in a professional manner.
  • Safely and regularly operate a vehicle to make deliveries, visit various locations, other businesses (post office, bank, office supply stores, etc.).
  • Exhibit an ability to receive feedback, adapt to new processes and continuously develop skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to collaborate, communicate well and effectively relay information with an emphasis on developing positive professional relationships.
  • Practice punctual and reliable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Possess strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills with an emphasis on calculating figures and amounts.
  • Demonstrate the ability to collaborate, communicate well and effectively relay information with an emphasis on developing positive professional relationships.
  • Proven track record of being dependable and reliable.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 30 pounds.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen as a condition of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years’ experience performing general administrative duties.
  • Possess intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.

Full time, in-person, 40 hours per week position. Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Qualified applicants must be available to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed.

$23.00 – $27.00/hour. After meeting eligibility requirements, benefits include:
