Pay Range – $16.91/hr – $24.15/hr

• Prepare bakery and deli items per customer requests using proper equipment.
• Offer product samples and inform customers of specials to help them discover new items.
• Ensure freshness by checking sell‑by dates and maintaining proper temperatures in cases, coolers, refrigerators, freezers, ovens, slicers, fryers, steamer, and robotic coupes.
• Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients accurately, following recipes and food‑temperature logs.
• Package, label, inventory, and stock merchandise, keeping accurate records of ordering and discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment, adhering to food‑safety regulations and Kroger’s safety program.
• Promote trust, respect, and excellent customer service throughout the department and store.
• Assist management in achieving sales goals and monitoring quality standards.
• Resolve customer and store issues cooperatively and with integrity.

• Customer service skills and effective communication.
• Basic math proficiency.
• Food‑handler permit (current or obtainable upon hire).
• Bakery or deli experience helpful; retail experience preferred.
