Welder Fitter Fabricator

Munson Boats is seeking Welder Fitter Fabricators to join our team in manufacturing welded aluminum boats for worldwide clients, including fire/rescue boats, research vessels, high speed patrol boats, USCG certified passenger boats, and more. Our boats are assembled in a state of the art production facility with radiant floor heat providing a comfortable work environment throughout the year.

This is a full-time opportunity with a four-day workweek (Monday – Thursday, 10-hour shifts), allowing for a great work-life balance with a three day weekend every week.

At Munson Boats, we operate a structured and highly organized shop, ensuring efficiency and top-tier craftsmanship. You will join a crew of 3-4 persons who will be responsible for building a highly customized welded aluminum vessel under the direction of a lead supervisor. We have a backlog of over two years of projects sold, offering stability and consistent year-round work for our team.

All vessel designs and CNC router cutting is done in-house with years of geometry and standardization practices. We operate a clean, safe and well organized work environment.

• Perform high-quality aluminum weldingwith a focus on structural integrity and aesthetics
• Fabricate and assemble aluminum hulls, decks, fuel tanks and other vessel components
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Ensure precise fit-up and proper welding techniques
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Work efficiently within a team 3-4 person team under direction of a lead supervisor

• Four ten work week. Monday – Thursday with every Friday off.
