• Provide direct patient intervention by delivering health and wellness services consistent with state and federal laws.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and inclusive pharmacy environment.
• Assist the pharmacist in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and performing billing procedures.
• Answer phone calls, triage inquiries, and provide timely customer support.
• Process vendor coupons, cash shortages, and electronic fund transactions following company policies.
• Prepare and dispense products using company best practices, including ordering from primary and secondary wholesalers.
• Adhere to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations and company confidentiality standards.
• Support health and wellness initiatives and uphold food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Keep work stations and customer waiting areas clean, organized, and compliant with company standards.
• Interact with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults with understanding and integrity.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Meet state requirements to perform the functions related to the position.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Previous comparable experience or a pharmacy clerk background.
• Comfort with electronic prescription (EPRN) systems.
• Understanding of local, state, and federal regulations governing pharmacy operations.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a high‑pace, sometimes stressful environment.
• Strong conflict‑resolution skills and a commitment to honesty and integrity.
• Experience with cash register operation, tendering electronic funds, and adhering to shrink guidelines.
• Familiarity with central fill deliveries and maintaining supplier order accuracy.
• Proficiency in following company guidelines for vending, vendor coupon acceptance, and cash handling.
• Support health and wellness initiatives and maintain departmental standards.
• Comfort in providing assistance to a diverse customer base, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
