About

the Role

The Assistant Store Manager position is critical to our success, providing support to the Management Team in all areas of operations management and team leadership. You’ll drive the store’s daily performance, inspire a team of employees, and ensure seamless customer service delivery.

Compensation Rate

STARTING RATE: $21.53
HOURLY RANGE: $21.53 - $22.84

What You Will Do
  • Team leadership: mentor, coach, and motivate employees to achieve sales management goals, deliver outstanding customer service, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Visual merchandising: ensure product displays and store layouts meet Skechers’ high standards.
  • Inventory management: monitor stock levels, manage restocking processes, and organize sales floor.
  • Operations management: oversee store systems, scheduling, opening/closing procedures, and support peak operations.
  • Sales management: drive revenue growth by implementing performance strategies, setting expectations, and exceeding sales goals.
  • Problem‑solving: proactively address operational challenges and resolve customer concerns.
What We Need From You
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and operational tasks effectively.
  • Experience in sales management, delivering results, and meeting targets.
  • Ability to create a respectful, inclusive, and safe work environment for employees and customers.
  • Exceptional team leadership and communication skills.
  • Confidentiality and sense of urgency.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • Retail, restaurant, or hospitality leadership experience preferred but not required.
  • Sales skills to drive revenue growth and meet targets.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
