Customer Service Associate – Walgreens

$16.00/hr – $18.00/hr

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Model and share customer service best practices with all team members.
• Register sales on assigned cash register and provide courteous, friendly, efficient checkout service.
• Recommend items for sale to customers and promote trade‑up and companion items.
• Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
• Keep counters and shelves clean, well merchandised, and maintain records.
• Take inventory and check in items, price merchandise as required.
• Implement company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
• Ensure compliance with state and local regulations for regulated products (e.g., alcohol, tobacco).
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise.
• Assist with separation of food items and stock rotation using FIFO.
• Utilize store systems and equipment effectively.
• Provide customer service in the photo area (passport, printing, creative machine, photo products).
• Assume web pickup responsibilities, monitoring orders, picking items, and delivering to customers.
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure a clean and orderly store appearance.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

• Attend training and complete required PPLs as directed by Manager or corporate.

• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking in English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

• Prefer at least six months experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Prefer willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
