We are recruiting for a Processing Plant Assistant Supervisor for a full-time, direct‑hire position with a Poultry Farm in Chazy, New York. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with supervisory experience who are interested in building a long‑term career with a growing agricultural company in the United States.
International candidates will receive support throughout the relocation and TN Visa process.
Job Title: Processing Plant Assistant Supervisor
Compensation: $23 per hour
Travel Required: None
Hours per Week: 50–60 hours
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 6:00 am – 4:30 pm
- Saturday: 6:00 am – 12:00 pm (may vary)
The Assistant Supervisor will oversee daily operations in the egg processing plant, where eggs from approximately 2.5 million hens are washed, graded, and packed each day. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Start‑up and shut‑down of the egg processing grader (washing, grading, and packing equipment).
- Supervising 20–30 employees on the processing line and ensuring daily production goals are met.
- Coordinating customer orders, ensuring correct packaging types and accurate egg counts.
- Overseeing end‑of‑day sanitation crews to ensure full compliance with USDA cleanliness standards
. - Inspecting machines to confirm that no egg residue remains and that hot‑water sanitation procedures are properly completed.
- Título universitario or cédula profesional on hand in Agriculture/Agronomy/Veterinarian or similar.
- Valis Mexican passport.
- Ability to move to the U.S.
- Ability to speak and understand at least 60% English
. - 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role overseeing staff.
- Previous TN Visa is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license (U.S. driver’s license preferred).
- Experience in food processing, agriculture, or manufacturing environments.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- The job is physically demanding and requires long periods of standing and active supervision on the production floor.
