This role requires a hands‑on problem‑solver with expertise in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. You'll perform preventive maintenance and diagnose malfunctions. Be prepared to use a variety of tools, interpret technical documents, and collaborate with a supportive team.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment and facilities, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and adhering to SAFETY‑LOTO procedures at all times.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex machine malfunctions across mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments effectively to diagnose and repair equipment.
- Dismantle and reassemble equipment for repairs, utilizing hoists, cranes, and various tools.
- Repair or replace defective parts, ensuring functionality and adherence to manufacturer specifications.
- Operate machinery and devices to test functionality after repairs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 3-5 years of experience in maintenance and repair of complex machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret complex diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer specifications.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality repairs.
- Strong work ethic, ability to work independently, and a collaborative spirit.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
