Position Summary:
At Hampton Inn Colchester, we are committed to delivering the highest level of comfort and cleanliness for our guests. As a Room Attendant, you will play a key role in creating a positive guest experience by maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms and public areas in accordance with Hampton standards.

• Replace used towels and linens with clean items.

• Replenish guest room supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and other amenities.

• Dust and vacuum guest rooms and hallways.

• Make beds and change bed linens.

• Report any maintenance issues, safety concerns, or lost & found items to the supervisor.

• Ensure the confidentiality and security of all guest information and belongings.

• Follow proper procedures for key control and housekeeping cart organization.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping closets and carts.

• Comply with hotel safety and sanitation policies, including OSHA standards.

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift up to 25 lbs, and stand/walk for extended periods.

• Must be available to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Working Conditions:

• Fast-paced hotel environment.

• Exposure to cleaning chemicals (training and PPE provided).

• May require standing, bending, lifting, and kneeling for extended periods.
